One of the many elements that the seller should be aware of, while having a houses for sale, are pets.

 Almost everybody today is aware of Allergic reaction that certain animals can cause to people, some people are scared of animals and being multi-cultural country, there could be a religious factor in place too.

- If you have a Buyer viewing your property and has allergy, all they will do is sneeze, cough and they will not see the potential of the property but will just ask for the nearest exit.

- If the Buyer is afraid of certain animals the result will be the same. They will run through the property, or will not enter the house at all.

Remember, most likely you will need to clean the property for the showings, you and your family will need to leave the house and all of that for nothing?!

The end result for that day will be unhappy Buyer, unhappy Seller ...and no deal!

Every challenge has solution, so talk to your Realtor and until you do that, here are some tips for you that might help:

•-         Allow showings only in time frame when you (or someone else) could take the pets out from the property.

•-         Make showing only 30min in length (so you do not need to stay out for long)

•-         Ask neighbor, friend or member of the family to take the pet out during the showing time.
